The three-week long stage race is the second Grand Tour of the UCI WorldTour but is the biggest race of the season and widely acknowleged as the biggest annual sporting event in the world. This year’s Tour de France starts in Liege, Belgium on Saturday June 30 and ends as per tradition, on the Champs Elysées in central Paris on Sunday July 22.
